Agent-centered Product Design

I executed an End-to-End Real Estate Transaction strategy, starting with the Agent experience. Real estate agent hated anything that got in the way of building lifelong relationships, so I worked backwards from the Agent’s current touchpoints and frustrations to build one centralized mobile-first experience that allowed Agents to scale their management of the full lifecycle of a real estate transaction.

Agents were trapped in fragmented workflows that forced jumps between apps and people to move just one real estate transaction forward.

My strategy was to increase agent capacity with mobile-first tools, to create a single-app contact to close experience, and intelligent tasks that wrangled any people or transaction tasks to a single project - the Workstream.

I created and tested core interaction models that could scale across Agents and Brokers. I created a shared service blueprint across the transaction and brokerage lifecycle.

I mapped the full transaction lifecycle, which was 11 irreducible touchpoints, ensuring a shared language and mental model for 5+ internal stakeholder departments. I conceptualized “Workstreams”, the single UI object to organize and centralize information. I mapped the data flow between agents, brokers, clients, and stakeholders with Service Blueprints and Mobile Prototypes.

Launched 2025 to 180k agents at Coldwell Banker, Eliminated 3 legacy apps for $3.5M/yr savings and $72M incremental revenue.

Launched in 2026 to 300 brokerages and franchises, increased agent recruitment activities by 25%.
